In this time of the year, I am always busy picking fruits from my three pomegranate trees. I eat them fresh, make juice (using a cold press juice extractor) and I freeze the excess fruit. They're delicious, healthy, and beautiful.

You should pick them when their skin cracks. When you open them, the fruit should be hard and giving off a metallic sound if you hit it . Do not leave them for too long on the tree once the skin cracks because they will go bad if rain, molds or insects get into the fruits.
