Лучше поздно, чем никогда!
I decided to write this blog about currency of Uzbekistan - sum. This is very specific currency ($1 = 2171.99 SUM).
In my University study several people from Uzbekistan and they told me that is the want to celebrate birthday or go to the restaurant with their families, they take 1 million sum!!! They showed me pictures with blocks of their money, looks ridiculous.
Also, they told that it is almost impossible to change currency, because banks take 20-30% from the total amount of money. That's why people usually change currency from the "private sellers". What is more, government "try to keep money in the country" , so year by year they limit amount of import goods.
Girls told me a lot of interesting facts about their currency, but at the moment I can't remember any of them.
I was trying to take picture of me holding money, but it was quite difficult, that's why you can see currency on 2 first pictures and me on the last!
