Today was a lovely Friday - bright and sunshiny unlike the other days this week. Having religiously followed Dukascopy marathon for 15 days in a row today was not an exception either - so right after finishing my (this time - late) working day around 7pm I headed to the gym to pump those muscles.



Going for a run quite often I came to realization that my arms are not the strongest part of my body, so I should focus on triceps in particular.

I still haven't managed to see significant results, but I have been following these three tips from my personal trainer:



1. Playing volleyball or tennis. Try implementing a nice, easy habit of playing sports where your arms are involved heavily. This will not improve the muscle size but will rather "make them shapey".

2. Rope triceps press-down. This exercise helps literally everything of your upper part - shoulders, biceps, a little bit of triceps and your chest area. A super-exercise, as they call it! Even more to that - if you use too much weight, you’ll involve your back and shoulder muscles, defeating the purpose.

3. Dips, dips, dips. Because you are lifting your whole body weight, your triceps have to work against a much heavier load than normally. If you can't perform a full dip try an assisted dip.

Day 16 accomplished:
ate lean foods, minimized fat consumption, drank over 2 liters of water and spent 2.5 hours in gym. Still keeping strong!
