It was a busy week. Lots of work, lots of business meetings, lots of stress and lots of sports, so I am taking this Saturday to fully relax and spend just with myself & my own thoughts doing the things that I adore and that bring me happiness and piece.

In fact, we don't just relax because it's fun. We relax to improve our mental and physical health, to "take a break" from the routine and go back on track to being fully effective and action-driven. We all know: life can get pretty full on sometimes and once it does, it's important to take a break and know how to deal with it. My top things for full mental and physical relaxation are a day in (i.e. spending a day at home), reading a book, cooking, watching a long-forgotten romantic comedy, doing yoga, listening to music & meditating. And drinking lots and lots of tasty, natural herbal tea.

My morning started with a small bowl of soy yogurt and granola to fuel up me for the rest of the day.

For lunch (despite the fact that I didn't feel too hungry) I had a hot quinoa salad with avocado, cherry tomatoes, bell pepper, peas and spicy corn.

For dinner: amazing stuffed courgette is coming




Day 17 accomplished: ate lean foods, relaxed, read a book.
