Autumn season is approaching and today I would like to share with you, my dear readers, what to do during rainy and depressive autumn days. In fact, it is not depressing. Thats a stereotype. It's us, people, who choose whether the autumn should be depressive or not. For me personally, there is no season in the year which is depressive, you just have to change the attitude about it.
Obviously, the season of autumn differs from others, because its usually rainy and grey. There are plenty of things you could do in order to escape "the grey" mood. Most of the people stay indoors and read books drinking coffee or tea, while me is exactly the opposite. I am the type of person who prefers spending time outside like travelling, going to theatre or museum (all that with your loved ones). The only activity which I love doing indoors is cooking. I am very passionate about cooking and I can cook all day long. I often invent various recipes and share them in my recent Instagram page: ak_yummies.
It's not hard to travel during rainy weekends, because I live in Geneva and everything is close. I have a close friend who lives in Zurich and I visit her sometimes to do some incredibly fun stuff together. There is a possibility to go to the mountains, too (there is always snow and sun).
My boyfriend's hobby is acting and now he is performing in one of Geneva Russian Theatres called Crescendo. He adores it and occasionally, his performances fall on the weekend and it's always a pleasure for me to go and see how the love of my life is performing on stage.
I am keen on museums too, even though in Geneva there are not so many, but I often visit when there is a fascinating exposition taking place.
If you like singing (my case), karaoke is the answer! I could live in the karaoke and never get tired of it. Even if you are not that much of a singer, you can drink a bit and then unwind in the world of music!
There are a lot of things you can do during rainy and not rainy days. Remember, it's you who decide whether the season is depressing or not!!
