  1. I am completely neurotic and I like it – I love horror movies, bungee-jumping, reading about creepy stuff etc., everything that makes my arm hair stand up. Although sometimes I just want to relax and do absolutely nothing.
  2. I am keen on psychology and psychotherapy, so probably that’s why I just love to meet different weirdos. However I can confirm that I am completely normal
  3. Historical fact that during all my life absolute majority of my friends were men – I have few really good female friends, but this is big exception. And it’s not like I’m not trying to be friends with girls, I just can’t talk about shoes , clothes and nails more than 5 minutes seriously, so only very unusual, intelligent and versatile girls can be my friends.
  4. I can eat the same food every day for several weeks as long as I like it (like e.g. pasta!), and then I switch to something else and continue this circle.
  5. When I was aged 6 I fell down from bicycle really badly - with my face down. I was too afraid to drive bicycle all next year and as I had half of my face completely "scuffed" - I did only one-sided photos for next several month.
  6. I used to do academic vocal but then I switched to hard rock bands and I’m still big fan of Marilyn Manson, even though I’m much more into electronic music now.
  7. I am absolute control-freak! I also believe that everything in this world happens because of me, if you know what I mean
  8. I never considered myself to be extremely lucky but I have re-considered this fact recently, when I won 250k $ worth prizedraw with trip to Geneva in Miss Dukascopy 2013 contest, that was my biggest adventure for now and I want more!

I’m originally from Riga, Latvia. 1.5 year ago having really good junior researcher position and perfect apartment in old town which was 10 min walk from work I‘ve decided to move to London and live with my boyfriend. It took me 3 weeks to organise everything, in fact I even had my planned vacation before I my last week at work, and I started new job in London only 2 working days after I finished my previous job in Riga. I’ve never regretted it.
  10. I just love urban exploration – if I travel somewhere you most likely can find me next or in some abandoned ruins where nobody’s around rather than next to popular touristic objects.
  11. I am crazy “doer” type and I am not going to believe a single word unless it’s actually done. Sometimes I get really annoyed when I have to deal with empty talkers!
