  • #meditate - with prayers;
  • #readbook - done days ago on "Micro-trend trading for daily income" - by Dr. Thomas Carr.
I've been holding back on sharing my thoughts on the last chapter of the book- "Is trading a form of gambling?" as it is a sensitive topic and a thought-provoking matter (personally).Within is a list of 26 warning signs/habits associated with trading addiction (which he'll always pass to his clients before working with them).
From which I uncovered 16 "at risk" signs surfacing in me on and off since I started trading until now - just as much as the writer (in his own words- a recovering trading addict). Addicted traders (with excessive, compulsive need to trade) are, inevitably, bad traders. Uncovering and acknowledging the signs is the first step towards dealing with those issues associated with trading/risk addiction.

When trading is involved, the 26 issues (in general) relates to our use/management of:
  • our time,
  • our health;
  • our lifestyle;
  • our priorities; and
  • money.
When these issues remains unresolved, leading to an out of balance, unsustainable lifestyle,
it becomes a form of gambling instead of another productive stream of income.

I'm glad I took time out to read this book, so I could find better way(s) to manage this issues properly.

Hope it helps!
