Balanced Life

The foundation of attaining "Balanced life" is like a building a house. The most important part of the building is the foundation that in our case the discipline and persistence. We build the strategic plan as a floor on this foundation. The pillars of the house are the mental health the physical health, active lifestyle and proper rest. So we fill the pillars with do's and don'ts (see the items between pillars) to keep functioning effectively.
Implementing the plan acts as a ceiling as it separate events under our control and events beyond our control (out of reach). In case of events that not under our control, we have to deal using our proactive responses (not reactive and gone to negative side) and mitigate the effects. When we have the events that under our control we must plan it thoughtfully and implement it effectively.
Once we build these skills and habits as our integral part, then the roofing comes as a reward for energy, vitality, and good health. So we enjoy the balanced life. This is how I see the Marathon.
