By completing this Task, I understood that I have so much mix inside))
Because my family Grand Mother and Grand father lived in Uzbekistan the half of their life
And we always had some traditions from this Middle Asian country.

Drinking tea in special cups, uzbek plov, --sweets, and few years ago getting all together in a dinner table, my Grand father sit in the middle and like to wear "tubiteika"(traditional cap) it was so weird but when I was a child I liked it so much))

By the way we are not Uzbek ) but my family took everything best from the other countries and traditions they lives in, the same as now. I think we took some latvian traditions too)) because we live in Latvia for many many years.

So here is also the List of traditions we have

  • FIRE+CANDLE,LAST minute to make a wish (This is New Year tradition, when its last minute, we all writing our wishes and it need to burn..it it burn, then the wish will come true! sometimes, not only paper burned, sometimes even tablecloth ))

  • Full TABLE Plov and jokes

  • Late night talks about life. Oh yes, sometimes we like to talk untill 3 a.m about life, philosophy I don't know, but this is already kind a tradition, we start and can't stop, because there is too much interesting things in life.

  • Take a sit before going to journey. This is more important for my mother, but also I take it to myself too

So what I can say about other traditions, I respect them, I also like and interested in Indian traditions, I like the music and so on )) because when I was a child this east Middle Asian mood surrounds me.

Oh) I hope you'll like my story
