Do you like modern art? You know that nowadays ways to be creative are unlimited. Anyone is able to become famous and successful with any kind of art. Paintings, sculptures, photography, whatever. Moreover, I start to think that the more shocking it is the more popular one can become. Strange, no?? I am not really in to modern art. I prefer old classical things. However, I am not able not to pay attention at all on what is going on around me.
I bumped into the article about photographer Mariel Clayton who is doing pictures of Barbie Dolls. In fact, she is showing off the dark side of the perfect Barbie. She is addicted to dolls. She is creating real stories inspired by daily life with Barbie as a main hero. Her pictures are full of details and humor. She states that we have not to take her approach in a serious way but, for me, it looks weird. Barbie addiction! LOL
