For the folks who didn’t watched that very much greatest, tremendous and superior presscon ever conducted i like to share the highlights of what Mr. President elect Donald Trump got to say:

Cited:

"I am the greatest job creator that god ever made."
"I am the only one who could run Trump business and the country. I could but I won´t."
"Hacking is bad. Russia did it. I think now they won´t do it again."
"The DNC got hacked...that´s why the country is what it is (or bad shape)"
"Your organisation is bad. I am not giving you a question. Quiet!"
"I was offered a 2 billion deal in Dubai....from a great guy. I didn´t do it. I could have..."
"I dont know if Putin and I get along. We might...or not"
"You´re fired."
"We´re gonna do some great things."
"We´re gonna do tremendous things." "And other things." "Things people have never ever seen before."
"My company is much bigger, more powerful than people ever thought."

First to say, i am not biased and this will be not another “DT bashing” post. But the best of DT seems to be this Twitter post today:

Regardless of proofen or unproofen facts concerning Mr Kerry. Is anyone believing that this president elect seems to have an agenda? As more i dig in the news and his twitter statements, i am not sure he got one or will ever have (oh forgot, building a great wall in the southern hemisphere).

However. The implications for the markets can be more than questionable if there will be no real political agenda and straight outlined plan by the new administration, at least after the inauguration on 20th. Its known fact that the new elected POTUS isnt required to bring up all fiscal matters in the first presscon but it is also known standard in the US. Historically nearly every president elect had done so.

Except talking about the "greatest, tremendous, superior" things which he will do. There are "things" which i believe are more worrisome. This ongoing behaviour of telling people how corrupt the press was, how he blasted the pharma industry in his opening statement, the plain talking about on how to handle his business and his relation to Mr. Putin. The real message of his agenda was clearly not seen which makes me believe that currently there isnt any.

What to expect from someone with a non visible or non existent agenda? You could nail it: We will all face high volatile markets with possibly abrupt turning points. Volatility at least is the food to make money and not bad per se. However unexpected moves may turn your profit into tears because you never know what Mr T is shouting out next, using a medium with 140 chars writing space to describe the complexity of a story.

Watchout for the bond markets anyways. They will provide you early indications of the possible movements in currencies since fundamentally nothing has changed except now there will be markets shaking by a US president with something in his nature you can expect: The unexpected.

I really wish the people of america the best and luck. Maybe Mr. T is someone with new ideas and maybe an own and personal way to handle all matters of political issues. But at least i believe this is just wishful thinking.

Be careful out there folks and stay tuned for possible changes at any given time.
