Once the Occupy Central Movement was announced by the pro-democrat activists, it indicates an official start of a campaign demanding the genuine universal suffrage of Hong Kong’s Chief Executive. Students, citizens, and even the elderly are stepping out to voice their wills for the withdrawal of the decision on Hong Kong's political reform made on August 31 by the Beijing authorities and the restart of the political development consultation by the Chief Executive.

Is there anything wrong for people striving for righteousness and democracy? The Occupy Central Movement was total peaceful and the protesters were mainly students. However, the government even arranged the riot police using tear gas, baton attacks and pepper spray and even fired rubber bullet to spread the protesters. Students even go to jail for democracy.

When I was reading the news and watching the clip, I can’t help crying. What is happening in Hong Kong now? Why is the police using extreme force to deal with unarmed and defenseless students and civilians? Hong Kong has long been hailed as a prosperous and civilized city with democracy and freedom. But at this moment, my homeland is totally chaotic as hell. Hong Kong is now covered by a veil of darkness. I feel depressed, helpless and hopeless.
