Belarus is my homeland. It is the place where I was born.
Belarus is a very green landscape. Forests are a national wealth of Belarus and one of the major natural resources of the country. Forests make up one third part of the green cover in the country.
Belarus is home to a huge array of wild animals and birds, many of them rare species.
Very often, when you travel around Belarus and see little villages it feels like going to another country or century, for the Belarusian villages seem to live back in the past. Hardly any difference can be spotted in those villages between now and 100 years ago. And it made a unique feeling.
Belarus is known as the “Lungs of Europe”. We try to preserve our virgin nature and many birds migrate on our territories looking for new homes and flying away from cut off forests of neighbor states.
