Many times you need to get data from JForex platform for many reasons. There are several options for obtaining this data. One of those options could be the Historical Data Manager of the JForex platform, but only serves to historical data (not live data) and saves the data in CSV or HST format.
The spreadsheets are universally used and essential for further handling of such data.
For that reason, I have developed the JForex2Excel system as a contribution to the Dukascopy community.
You can find information about the use and implementation of the system here:
http://www.dukascopy.com/fxcomm/fx-article-contest/?Jforex-Excel&action=read&id=1468
The system handling is extremely easy for anyone who uses JForex platform, and at the same time is a powerful tool that allows you to get data from the bars in any timeframe and any instrument or (tick by tick) data if you prefer.
But it also provides to the developers of a powerful and very simple library to generate Excel files through OLE2.0 technology.
The JForex2Excel system works fine both in testing mode (history data), as in live mode (live data).
If you have time, please comment if the system have been useful and/or improvements or recommendations you would. Any recommendations or suggestions will be appreciated.
