Because of the country I am from I've decided to go for Latvian current national currency for this task.

Lats were first introduced in 1922 and then reincarnated in 1993 after 53 years of Soviet occupation with Rubli currency.
Very soon this currency will become a history as Latvia has decided to replace Lats with Euros on January 1, 2014.

Salmon - the most popular coin with 1 Lat value - is crying because of this fact. It is not happy with this euroisation at all.
