Vamps Halloween party

L'arc en ciel and Vamps are Japanese rock bands. They both have the same lead singer. His nname is Hyde.
They started having halloween parties maybe 3 years ago and this year is the most elaborate. One reporter took pics of people in their costumes outside of the venue.
The makeup is super impressive. Halloween is getting bigger and bigger in Tokyo. What are you doing for halloween?
In general, I've found Japanese people to be very open minded, not only in fashion or makeup.

Shibuya Halloween street party.

It's that time again. Shibuya is a district in Tokyo where all the gyaru hang out and it's also my favourite part of Tokyo. Amazing place to shop or just waste time.
Their Halloween street party is on at the moment and also tomorrow.

Eyepatch girl!

That's me.
Today I went to the hospital cause somehow I scratched my eye. Now I have to wear a big bandage over my left eye for at least a week. I have to go back to the hospital Nov. 2 and hopefully then I can take off the bandage.
Interestingly, eye glue exists. They put a gel on the bottom part of my eye, told me to close my eye and wala! My eye was glued shut. I can still open it by using my eye muscles a bit. Then they put the bandage over my eye.

There are many pictures here to see.
Here is Meiji Jingu or Meigi shrine. It's the temple that you should definitely see when visiting Tokyo. The one in Akasaka is nice too and a good place to buy traditional Japanese things. Meiji jingu is really beautiful and usually quiet and has some gardens around it.
Here is Harajuku station.
After exiting you should see this gate to Takeshita dori where a lot of yooung girls like to shop. All the crepe shops and Harajuku fashion shops are here.

When visiting Tokyo, you should definitely try a crepe. My favourites are the ones with strawberries and whipped cream. I often got the strawberry cream cheesecake one. They roll the crepes up with a slice of yuumy cheesecake in the middle. It's called the nama ichigo cheesecake. They are especially famous in Harajuku which is a really fashionable and interesting place in Tokyo.

When visiting Shibuya 109. Keep in mind that this mall only has clothing for women and nothing for men. There is another mall for men in Shibuya.
Other than fashion and accessories there are many restaurants and beauty items as well. The basement has Sony Plaza which sells food, clothes, makeup, and a variety of things.
Dollywink is a very good and popular makeup brand that focuses on eyelashes and eye makeup. Dollywink eyelashes are the best lashes I have ever found.
