My equity stands at 68K after the first week of the November's contest. I mistakenly expected a hawkish hike from the BOE on Thursday and though got a relatively good price on GBP/USD ahead of the decision. I should've tightened SL immediately as I got the chance when the pair spiked after the decision. That would have reduced my loss from 100 pips down to just 25 pips. The second trade was admittely a bit of a "revenge" trade but I did think we would get a bounce of some sort. I exited for a 1 pip loss when I realized the pair was going down not up. So, again, not an ideal start to the month, but there's almost four full weeks left in it.

I recovered my equity level from 62K to 84K in the second week of the October contest. I exited GBP/CHF for decent 48 pips and also timed GBP/JPY exit (85 pips) pretty well, but was steamrolled (-31 pips) in an attempt at re-entry lower. My equity is down to 62K from 100K after the first week of the October contest. My SL management should have been more agressive as the pound fell out of favour last week. 43K is my current downside equity limit for this month, will trade with more caution next week.

Trades have not been going my way in the September contest. Or perhaps not to the extent that I wanted them too. Setting profit targets closer in range-bound environment of the last week would be a much better strategy. I won't let my equity fall below 60% from the peak, so I have about 10K left for trading this month.
Fundamental Analysis Contest
