The first Attempt

It's really not bad :) As for me all indicator based automated strategies are rubbish because the trading with indicators is like a driving a car looking back to the mirrors :)

Well, I guess they are self-fullfilling-prophecies. So many people use them - like a resistance on the 200EMA line, that it really becomes a resistance factor. So I don't expect it to work perfectly, but if you get a statistical advantage (like 51% of your trades are winners) it will work. Or you just have a good win/loss ratio. Your SL is always 10 pips, your take profit is always up to 30 pips - you actually can have a winning strategy with less than 50% of winning trades. You get really good if you can combine those two factors ;)

A Programmers Journey
