Finally!!

I have finally pulled ahead of my trading strategy.. ..
this week's profit is at 56%..i am quite happy with that.. ..gonna take a break and prepare for the weekend..
My strategy in strategy contest is still at 37%...so i guess the human is better after all..
My poker hand is also getting wicked..
finished top 10..

it seems the poker contest is the only contest i have reasonably improved in...In the trader contest, my account is still below 100,000USD, even after several trade attempts to get above it..
bought the GBPAUD, closed at breakeven
bought the GBPJPY, closed at a loss..current balance 55,000USD
I have one more trade open, buying GBPCAD...let see how that goes...

I am looking forward to a very looong weekend...I will not be back till Wednesday...
I hope my article comes out before then...So far I have stuck to my strategy...No more gun-slinging..
Right now, i am keeping my head down and trading only my strategy...It looks like it is ding well on the strategy contest, intend to migrate it to my contest account come Wednesday.. ...

Today was a good game of poker, it was also a bit painful because i could have won..
Finished 2nd place..now i am definitely sure my game has improved...I am going to be using these daily games to sharpen my skills while i work my way up to weekly and monthly tournaments...

USDNOK Trade

I finished among the top 10 in today's poker game..
Feeling good bout that...Contest trading account's current balance is 33k, i have a sell trade on the USDNOK, same pair that crippled the account..
I am still looking for tops and bottoms...I suspect the pair may have reached such a point..Besides, a lot of traders are starting to go against the United states dollar..
Lets see how this goes...

My poker game today was not all that, it would seem i have some off-days..
My contest account is still below a 100k, and i just got my login details for next month...A strong reminder that the month is over...
Well, i gave it my best, made some mistakes...I guess i will live to learn..
i still have a single position open, a short trade on the EURNZD...if that trade miraculously becomes profitable, i might have a chance..if not, then thats all for August..

I finished 9th in today's poker game..
I think its time to start moving up to the big leagues.. ...weekly games and the Grand Prix..
On the trader contest, i am still betting heavily against he United States dollar, i am expecting the Jackson hole conference to cause a big disruption in all the dollar gains....Call it intuition..
Actually, at this point i need a hail mary pass...

My poker game today was good, finished 22nd...Got greedy and bet too much..
But definitely getting better... ..
I have taken all my trades for the week..with my contest account still under a 100k, i have to take a daring move... ..
The account got to 96k, but currently at 77k..i am holding on to my trades...selling the USDSEK,USDNOK and USDZAR.. ..
I am seriously hoping the United States dollar drops heavily...After several days up, trying to catch some retracement..

Today's poker game was great..finished 11th.. ..
Soon i will be taking part in the weekend or end of month games..
I have a single trade open, my contest account is still below 100k, about 78k to be precise..
I am still very hopeful and optimistic...I am hoping FOMC will be the news event i need to push my trade in the right direction..
If that does not work, then i will live to fight another day..
i will need several "miracle trades" to climb to the top 10, so i will just relax and take my time…
