TRY where are you heading?

Hi,
today I opened few trades on TRY. The results werte mixed - profit/profit. I have still 2 positions open - profit/loss. The reason why I opened the trades is, that I expected correction on the pairs. The up trend on TRY was really long and strong, so the correction should come soon. Or maybe not?

Hi,
I had a bad day today. It is sure, that these typ of days must come, but why today.
The reason is simple, I was overexposed on TRY.
Actually my assumption was right, that the TRY will weaken against EUR and USD, but it came too late. I got a margin call in the night unfotunately and after that the market headed up.
The good luck was, that I did not drop under 60% ratio of drawdown. The bad luck was, that I lost an oportunity to paricipate in the 6 month contest Signal provider Grand Prix.

Hi,
today I opened 2 trades, both on TRY pairs. The firs was on EUR/TRY. In the begining it looked good, so I decided to open another one on USD/TRY. The fir hour after opening both the positions were in profir, but later the situation turned around ab both of them are in loss. The Idea behind the opening was, that the TRY will not break the range from the previous week, what actually did not happen. I expected stronger reaction on refusing the low. Next week

Hi,
as usually I took a look at the macro calendar for the comming week. The comming week will not provide many important macro news, thus the volatility will be probably lower. Here we have take into account the summer holiday period, what support my expectation.
The increased volatility can be expected on the following days:
Tuesday - AUD pairs
Thursday - GBP pairs and partialy USD pairs
Friday - USD and CAD pairs - hidh volatility
I will probably trade these pairs on the above mentioned days.

Hi,
this mont's contest was quite tough till the last moment of the contest. My main strategy relied mainly on trading the emerging currency pairs. The reason, whay I traded them is, that it offered me an opportunity to make good profits by the increased volatility. I think, that the potential will continue during the comming lazy summer months.

Hi,
today I had again mixed day. Few positions finised with a profit, but majority with a loss. Majority of my positions were opened to SHORT direction. The reason why I opened them was, that I believed, that the macros from US, which was published today, will be below the market expectation. US macros today

Hello,
Today into 2 hours from now will be released an important macro from Us and Germany. Based on these results will be increased volatility on USD pairs. EUR/USD is very close to support level 1.1550.
I expect, that the GDP result will match the market expectation and the market will go up. In case the result is better than expected, the market will probably break the support level.
I will tighten my SL on the open positions.

Hi,
today I had a mixed day. I estimated the TRY quite good. I set up the waiting orders and it seems, that I was a good choice. Both the positions are on profit now. The market is right now in the lower half of the week range and I assume, that it will try to break the buttom of the range during tomorrow. I will try to hold that positions for a while, but I need to ba carefull not to lose completly the profit.

Hi,
I had a good estimation of the situation on TRY pairs. I epxted, that the pairs will oscillate around the oppening price from Sunday night. It did not seems to be very accurate estimation in the morning, but the situation changed after the lunch. Both the pairs dropped down and now are there, where I wanted them to be.

Hi,
I opened today few trades on TRY and ZAR. Originally, I had open some positions from Friday. It seemsed to be profitable positions till 9 AM. After that the market, especially on TRY, suddenly fell down and one of the positions was closed by hitting SL. The fall was so strong, that it had a range of cca weekly range. After that I decided to reopen the position on LONG side, cos I epected, that the correction definitelly must come. This happened and I closed the positions with a nice profit. …
