Welcome back to me!Just arrived from my long-awaited vacation, feel a little evil inside, in a good way :) Did I miss something interesting here?
Dear Dukascopy members who are working on Miss Dukascopy 2013 contest.It's been almost 2 months since I'm here and still so many questions that remain without the answers or explanation from your side, such as:1. What is the main priority for this contest - just blogging or overall photo and post likes? 2. Do I need to be a trader to win?3. What kind of real time voting will run in November - who will be able to vote and will there be any criteria for voting?4. Where are everybody? I don't see almost any activity from cheerleaders or organizers and it feels that we (participants) are all alone blindly doing some unclear stuff here.5. Why Dukascopy evaluation column is absolutely empty?6. When the functionality of the blog will finally work well (comments for reply, Google Chrome photo upload glitches, formatting)?7. How to navigate the blog so I can read the posts of my favourites without clicking on every nickname manually? 8. When the liking system for photos will be fixed? Every time someone is voting they are getting confused because once they press "Like" the number of votes is getting -1, not +1 and this is really annoying.I understand this requires some time to improve, so just asking if there is hope to see these improvements in the near and bright future.Thank you in advance!

Haha, ladies, seriously? I thought this contest will be the first contest ever where girls are not fighting like stupid chickens, but I was wrong :D :D :D It's getting fun! It remains me of this: Miss Philippines 2001 contestant Jeanie Anderson was asked “If you could be beautiful and not so smart, or brilliant and not so beautiful, what would you be and why?” Anderson responded, “Well, I'd rather choose to be beautiful, um because, to be beautiful it's natural. But being smart you can learn...you can learn, um a lot of things...a lot of things from the experience...you can learn from a lot of things being smart." Clearly, she's in the right business. "Hedgehog in the fog" is one of my favourite animation :)If you are not familiar with it I can recommend to watch it (video inside), it is very unusual short animation about the friendship, fog and some other interesting things.
Vicky gave an interesting idea for the blog and it is actually perfect for a Friday! I'll tell you about my favorite alcohol cocktails. I am not a big drinker so usually I prefer something light and boring like cider, but sometimes I want to use "heavy artillery" and this is my TOP 3 of it :) Please take away you kids because they might like these ideas too!!3. Bronze goes to sweet, small and flaming shot "B-52". I love liqueurs! But it is sometimes very hard on the next day after that :)) The recipe is simple but require some practice in layers: coffee liqueur (Kahlúa), an Irish cream (Baileys Irish Cream), and a triple sec (Cointreau). When prepared properly, the ingredients separate into three distinctly visible layers (due to their relative densities). For a Flaming B-52, the top layer is ignited, producing a blue flame. Drink it fast through a straw. Feels so warm and creamy, love it!2. Silver goes to Cocktail of Vanilla Vodka and Sprite. This sounds very simply but tastes great. You can vary the proportion depending on the occasion - as far as it is not more that 50/50 it tastes very good - sweet, you can't feel alcohol so much, so be careful!1. Gold goes to the best Cocktail I've ever tried - "Polar lights". It is also simple - only 2 ingredients: champagne and vodka. Attention - Very Very dangerous! Never ever try more that 2 of those in one evening. It guarantees the best mood for the whole night :)As I love to experiment here is another couple of recip…

Hey there!The summer is in its actual stage in London, so as much as I'd want I can't force myself to sit at home and write blogs :)I suppose if there would be an app for Iphone such things would go easier.Anyway I'm here ready to share some interesting photos of me that were found all around the world thanks to my friends.This one was taken in Daugavpils, Latvia, city shopping centre.This photo by itself is actually magical. Once one guy from Netherlands Investment company was looking for me from the Amsterdam because they found this picture randomly in the internet and wanted me to be a face to their ad video campaign for the whole year, but unfortunately I was unable to speak German without an accent for that.. But still it is so exciting when people are ready to invite you to another countries just by looking at 1 picture!Kiev metropolitan, Ukrain. Jewellery shop ad. Steam-punk is huge now. People are happy to publish steam-punk girl face even if that's not very suitable for the product of the campaign.Latte 3 in 1 coffee pack - Latvia, Riga. Some friends were fans of this 3 in 1 Latte so noticed this accidentally in the shop. Then my best friend came to visit me from Latvia and brought several packs for my collection. So funny when you getting your head cut :) I need to admit it's quite a sadistic campaign ..Ad for Windows 8. I don't think this one was a successful ad because no one of sever…
