The euro is rising against the US dollar on Tuesday morning.

The exchange rate rose to nearly 1.1540, slightly below the weekly R2 (1.1543) and is now consolidating gains afloat the 1.15 level.

The upper boundary of the hourly Bollinger bands is located near 1.1555 area, while the lower at 1.1414.

Support may now be offered at the weekly R1 at 1.1491.
