In autumn was held a contest for the creation of drawings of different characters in Russian culture. Nobody exactly knows what they look like, so the person can express their imagination and show how that character looks in his presentation. Of the proposed options, I chose the Sidor's goat. There is a Russian expression - to tear smb like to tear a Sidor's goat.
The etymology of the phrase in one version:
The imagery is based on comparing the figurative meaning of words Sidor (the name of the people is often associated with the notion of evil and grumpy man) and goat (according to popular notions, the harmful nature of the animal).

By the way in Russian language the name Sidor and the name of an apple drink - cider sounds the same, so I decided to draw a funny goat with a barrel of cider!
