A couple days ago I was googling Alaska, because a friend of mine told me she spent her summer there. I got so interested in it that I started researching the history and the life of Alaska. What I found out though was very surprising, and I wanted to share it with you guys. Just a really cool , fun fact !
The distance between RUSSIA and the USA is only 7.5 Kilometers And that is 100% true.


In the middle of Bering Strait, which divides Russia and USA, are two small islands. The islands are Little Diomede and Big Diomede . Diomede Big is in Russia and the little one is part of the USA. There are no people living in the Big Diomede, but the Little Diomede has about 110 people living there!!! You know what it the most intersting part, The people living there are perfectly fine with living in a place with no cars, roads, etc. All they have is a big rock on which their houses are built, and that is the happiness, the happy life they are living.
So you see how close we actually are, as much as we think we are not !!! Only 7,5 kilometers and there you are, you are in Russia or vice versa !
