1st of all I used them for pinning wet clothes to the clothes line.
2nd I use them to close the opened packages with food. Something like here:
Then , when I was a child and went to the swimming pool for the first time, my instructor taught me how to swim under the water and I complained that water is coming into my nose. He suggested to do something like this:
but I did not find it really helpful or useful.
The last but not least option was introduced by my father recently. My appartment is under repair and we decided to paint our old radiators. There is a long vertical tube and while painting it there is a risk to damage newly painted walls.
So my father took the old poster and clothing peg, wrapped this poster around this vertical tube so that paper covered the wall and attached it at the bottom of the poster with clothes pin so that it did not let the paint go down and be left only on the battery and paper.
