In this post I would love to share my passion about the food.
We all eat and it would be a sad waste of opportunity to eat badly.
I love food and I love eating. In my opinion, healthy food is the food what makes you happy and keeps your body in shape. I never sat on a diet in my life because I think it is a waste of time. How cannot you eat if really want something?! For example, I am addicted to Nutella. Every time I get it, I can easily finish it with a spoon. Oh well....I know sounds like too many calories. But, I do not mind to spend a week in a gym.
Apart from this, I try to eat healthy, and not because I have to; my body and myself feels much better. I almost don't eat meat, just if its an italian antipasti platter. But, I love seafood: mussels, oysters, prawns, seaweed, any kind of fish, octopus etc. Also seafood is filled with nutrients and could cut your risk of a heart attack in half. Furthermore, my stomach does not feel too full when I eat fish; meat is too heavy for my stomach.
Of course, my weekly diet is full of vegetables and fruits. Every morning I make a smoothie or eat granola with fruits and yoghurt. This type of breakfast fulfils my body for a whole day (especially granola because its full of oats). And then, during the day, I drink quite a lot of water with freshly squeezed lime because it helps to burn calories and just kills the feeling of being hungry.
About the dinner....hmmm do I follow a rule to not to eat after 6?! Of course no, its stupid...I used to but I ended up eating a lot snack before going to bed. In my opinion, the most right thing is to eat three hours before you go to sleep. So stomach has the time to work it all.
I cannot really say that I follow any rules or diets, I just have got the list of products that I do not eat at all.
And the most important, I do sport; I literally go to the gym every day (this helps to keep myself fit).
I have not made a picture of my grocery shopping list because I think you would not be able to understand how does it connect to my weekly diet. As I love cooking I made a collage of my favourite meals.
