La mayoría de los pares han iniciado la sesión de esta semana con gaps (huecos). Se denomina gap a la diferencia que se produce entre el cierre de una sesión semanal, y el inicio de la siguiente. Esto suele suceder, por ejemplo, cuando se generan noticias, pero el mercado esta cerrado (por ejemplo, los fines de semana). Están noticias impactan en el mercado, cuando este abre nuevamente.

New type of Mondays

Hello community members and fellow traders,
It is another Monday in a row which is not as calm as it used to be. Today everything opened with a big gap: EUR/USD ->20 pips up, AUS/USD more than 30 pips down and so on, only maybe cable was strong with no gap. Ofcourse all the indices made a huge gap down and some of them recovered, some not. I will focus on EUR pairs and ofcourse try to find entry for oil connected pairs like RUB and NOK.

Born to be closed

At the past I heard something like "every gap is born to be closed one day", well, I really don't like to pay attention to whatever sounds like a rule, because market just don't follow rules, there's no magic formula. It's more like a beautiful coincidence.
