USD/JPY, Tested trendline and buy ?

Dear guys,
USD has a weak week compared to JPY. The price finished day with H4 trendline support.
We can see if price react at this level. I refer a long if impossible break trenline and price confirm; otherwise, my idea is invalid.

USDJPY Long position (03 Jan 2018)

Wishing every body a Happy and Prosperous New Year 2018
This is my first trade of the year 2018. This trade has been taken with a couple of days view in mind. It has an element of Technical as well as Personal view attached to it. I did rather say bit more of Personal view.
I went long 500,000 USDJPY at 112.287 with a Stop Loss (SL) at 112.00 and a Take Profit (TP) at 112.75. I studied the daily charts, found its time for the pair to move towards 112.75 or even higher.

Having previously USDJPY pair experienced a very sharp downtrend. Looking from the stochastic chart indicator, where Slow% K and D are already around the support line, and seen from the Slow% K image will cut from the bottom of Slow% D, I think the time is nowhere to take BUY decision than SELL.

21 December USDJPY correction for next trend UP

Коррекция USD/JPY подходит к концу. В конкурсе трейдеров я не стал закрывать сделку. Так как был не уверен на 100% что достигним уровня 117.350.
На реальных счетах поставил отложенный ордер с параметрами:
Buy limit: 117.350
Stop Loss: 115.000
Take Profit: 119.300

Target USDJPY 116.790

Пока все ожидают повышения процентной ставки при которой будет увеличена базовая ставка на 0.25%, тем самым ожидаю укрепления USD/JPY примерно до 116.790 на сегодня.
Дальняя цель по валюте USD/JPY располагается в районе 117.200 - 118.200 и последняя возможная цель 119.000. Коррекция по валюте USD/JPY составит в район 105.000 - 99.000 там находится зона большой поддержки, откуда будет сильное накопление для дальнейшего роста к 125.000.…

in the first day on week we have a nice and interested ratio for buying USDJPY according to triple bottom pattern more than 55%
our target around 103 and to make more than 120 pip in take profit and we minimiz our stop lose to be under the bottom

Long UsdJpy paying off well

My UsdJpy long is doing well already
As I wrote about yesterday - Usd looks fundamentally very strong
I decided to go long at market open - and went long UsdJpy, UsdChf and Usd Cad
I decided to close UsdCad after it failed to brake 1.30 just now - a profit of about 25 pips
UsdJpy was the best trade and landed me 120 pips and 50K profit
My UsdChf is down about 35 pips and I have added a tight SL just below 0.97 now

Back above 300K in the contest

I am up to 300K after being down to 29K last week - a drawdown of 80%
I am not proud of the drawdown - but I am very proud of my return back in just 5 days
The market was hurting me although my fundamental positioning was good,
I missed TP's, and market was coiling and cost me a lot
Now market is doing what it is supposed to, and I am making money fast
i am out now before the FOMC tomorrow - I will see where UsdJpy is at tomorrow
Also I will see if I want to trade the Nzd interst rate decision

:) Thank you, but you have to subscribe to at least 10 traders in order to not be penalized in the social trading contest. Take a look at the new rules. I learned it the hard way.

"To be eligible for the prize, one has to register to Social Trading Contest and subscribe for at least 10 Signal Providers during contest month." I have done that - no problem, you don't have to be subscibed to 10 providers at all time, just altogether

USDJpy making massive gains - other Yen crosses too

UsdJpy is up to nearly 1.12 in a huge bullish reversal from 1.08
Other Yen crosses are following the pair up - Yen seems to be weaker
The most interesting cross seems to be the GbpJpy,
this pair has accomplished a three candle weekly inside reversal:
there should be more gains here next week
