Daily setup

USDCHF: The current uptrend has begun the october 20th and at this moment there are no signals of reverse. I'll place a limit buy order at 1.0250 the closest support. The stop loss will be set at 1.0200 and the initial target at 1.0350.
GBP/NZD: The pair is in a strong downtrend momentum, this give us the confidence that the downtrend started on november 18th is still active. The price is approaching the support places around 2.2500, anyway we have a sufficent margin to enter in short in case of…

Daily setup - last day of the contest

Today is monday, and as it is commonly known, it is definitely not the best day to trade. Usually the pairs have the tendency to retrace the friday movement, and there are not so important economic releases. Anyway from a pure technical point of view we could consider:
GBPUSD: There are no signs of modification of the running trend. We could wait for a retrace and sell at 1.5060, the stoploss will be placed at 1.5140 and the initial target at 1.5000
USDCHF: This is in my opinion the most stable …

Conclusions

The contest is coming to an end, and today is friday. There are no major economic releases in the afternoon so we can't expect big movements on the market.
This morning we worked to close the opened positions as better as we could (both with profit GBP/JPY and NZD/USD), We gained in this way some positions in the standing. In other circumstances i would kept opened my best position on USD/CHF and this morning we had a big increase. Anyway i think i worked well this month. I don't think i will op…

Daily setup

Today volume is quite low due to bank holiday in United States, so volatility doesn't give so many opportunities.
USD/CHF: The main uptrend is still intact, anyway we are approaching to the end of the week and to the end of the monthly contest, we look for a bull moment to close the position.
USD/NZD: We opened a position yesterday hoping for a restart of the main downtrend. We are in loss this position. We wait for a good price to close the position with little loss.

Daily setup

I have four USD related positions in place, USD dollar is still getting stronger in this second part of the week.
USD/CHF: The ascending channel for the pair is still intact, we placed a buy position yesterday at 1.015 target is still confirmed 1.025, with 100 pips profit. There should be space for additional 20 pips in this position, but for safety reason i don't think to move the takeprofit further.
GBP/USD: We entered short at 1.5136 with target 1.4960 and at this time there are not signal of…

Daily setup

EUR/USD: As yesterday, we are still waiting a good retrace to enter a short position. In this moment from a risk/reward perspective it is not justified to pull the trigger now.
GBP/USD: We entered short yesterday at 1.5136, the pair seems to confirm that the main downtrend is still intact. We will keep the position and wait for further downtrend movement. Target: 1.4960
NZD/USD: We entered short yesterday at 0.6516. The pair stalled around 0.6500 level. This level seems to be resistive. We are c…

Daily setup

EUR/USD :Economists have recently downgraded their forecasts for Eurozone, this led a consistent loss of the Euro against the US Dollar and other currencies. The main downtrend is still intact, however from the risk/reward perspective it is not convenient to enter on the market immediately, we wait for a retrace to find a good price to place a sell order.
USD/CHF: we could apply for this pair the same consideration we have already made for the EUR/USD. We'll stand aside and will wait for a decen…

Daily setup

USD/CHF: US dollars has been quite strong this week, yesterday the pair moderately retraced and seems to find good support around 1.0120, we will place a long position with initial target at 1.0220 and a stop loss just under 1.0100.
EUR/USD: for the same reason written above, the pair retraced yesterday and gave a good opportunity to enter and follow the main downtrend. we entered a short position waiting for a good downtrend moment, we will place the stoploss at 1.0800 and the initial target at…

Daily setup

NZD/USD retraced sharply during european session after nine days of consecutive downtrend. Since we consider this movement a retrace, we could expect that the main trend will restart. We will look to enter with a sell limit order around 0.6520 and we'll set the stop over the new resistance at 0.6550.
GBP/NZD: As happened for the above written pair, GBP/NZD retraced sharply during the european session. Since we consider this movement a retrace, we could expect that the main trend will restart. We…

Daily setup

EUR/GBP: The pair broke down yesterday and tested the 0.70 level, this level seems to be supportive, and a retrace seems to be highly probable. I'll wait a retrace up to the upper channel line to set a sell limit order around 0.7050.
USD/CHF: Uptrend still in play, a modest retrace, part of consolidation is now in act. I'll wait for a retracing moment around 1.050 to enter long, the stop loss will be set under 1.0000 support level.
GBP is getting stronger and this make interesting to follow some…
